  • Thomas Hough lit a candle on 11/06/2017:
"It is always one of the saddest times when a mother passes. Especially when is it one who raised one of the finest families. I am a friend of Bill and Avis Brodie and I send to them and the entire family my deepest sympathies at this time. She will always be your mother and mother-in-law and you will carry her into the future with you through your thoughts and love for her. It is difficult now and will be difficult for a number of days to come in the future, just know she loved you and is with you every hour of every day. Wishing all the best to you and the family Monica and Thomas Hough"

  • Joseph Lehmann lit a candle on 11/08/2017:
"I am out of the country but just heard the news of Granny's death. Personally and on behalf of the Lehmann family, my brothers and sisters and especially my three children, (three of Granny's Grandchildren and two great grandchildren (soon to be three)), my deepest condolences on your loss. The Brodie family and the Lehmann family have been friends since I was five, 57 years ago.. Mrs. Brodie, Mae, Granny has been part of our family and will remain forever in our hearts. I've been blessed to have her in my life. She was a very special person, intelligent, loving, thoughtful, forgiving and always welcoming. She will live on in each of her children. Remembered always with love. joseph"

  • Alison Cuming lit a candle on 11/08/2017:
"My deepest condolences to the Brodie family and relatives! Mae was my mom, Aldora's closest friend in Mtl N and I grew to love her and called her Auntie Mae. Even my triplets knew her as Auntie Mae. She was the most generous, caring, loving person we have ever had the privilege to know, and has been sorrily missed ever since she moved to Ontario. We are deeply saddened to read of her passing. "
